 CanadaCart.ca has been helping Canadian and international companies to enter the e-marketplace with our shopping cart and store builder eCommerce solutions since 1998.
The first version of our shopping cart was first used internally by our parent company to meet the demand our Canadian merchant clients had in setting up viable, affordable and secure on-line transactions. Following positive feedback from our clients, and noticing a lack of any true Canadian presence for e-commerce solutions, we rose up to become the first and only company to offer Canadian on-line retailers a completely unlimited shopping cart solution.
CanadaCart.ca was launched for public purchase in the first quarter of 2000 at the domain CanadaCart.com. When the ability to procure .CA domains became available, we immediately switched our primary web presence to CanadaCart.ca.
CanadaCart.ca continues to be Canada's first and best unlimited shopping cart solution. Our focus is on continuing to deliver a solid, sustainable shopping cart system specific to Canadians.
Client feedback has always been, and continues to be, our main concern. Our development department continually works in tandem with the wishes of our customers to refine CanadaCart.ca. This close interaction with our customers helps us deliver the best product possible with every new upgrade.
To that end, CanadaCart.ca SE v4.0 was been released (Q4 2007) as a family of Shopping Cart products; eGoods Edition for merchants selling electronic goods and Drop Ship Edition for merchants who drop ship to their clients.
Everyone at CanadaCart.ca is constantly looking to the future. We're excited to be have launched a second e-commerce product in 2004; the CanadaCart.ca StoreBuilder family of products. After more than a year of product development and testing, the CanadaCart.ca StoreBuilder product line was launched as a full database driven eBusiness solution. The CanadaCart.ca StoreBuilder product line has increased features and functionality for those who want or need a more feature-rich on-line retail solution.
Solid, steady growth in our company has allowed us to open our Western Canada office in 2003 to handle customer care, support and sales for those in the Western provinces, while our Central/Eastern office continues to service Manitoba and eastward.
